Kern IT participated in the annual meeting of ALAC Argentina (Association of High Complexity Laboratories).
Kern IT, a company specialized in technological solutions designed to improve the patient experience, aimed at clinical analysis laboratories and diagnostic centers, was part of the 139th meeting of the Association of High Complexity Laboratories (ALAC) that took place at the end of August in the city of Resistencia in Chaco.
ALAC’s annual meetings are a space to promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences among the member laboratories of the organization with the aim of promoting innovation and excellence in scientific research.
During two days, different professionals from laboratories and companies that provide solutions for the industry gave lectures on the main market trends.
Kern IT participated in this meeting with a talk on the “Use of standards as an accelerator of implementations”, by Rodolfo Renner, Commercial Director and co-founder of Kern IT.
“Our presentation at the ALAC meeting focused on market trends, among which we highlight the new role of software communication in the diagnostic service, the new challenges in a market that is increasingly consolidated, the direct focus on the patient that requires greater connection, and the democratization of LIS systems,” reflected Rodolfo Renner, who also added that standards are essential to connect with third-party software, facilitate integration and allow data and indicators to be shared.
The Kern IT executive also highlighted the advantages of using the cloud for clinical analysis laboratory management software, among which he listed: cybersecurity, scalability, accessibility from anywhere, remote online support, cost reduction both initially and after implementation, and acceleration of the implementation of new applications and services.
Finally, Rodolfo pointed out that at the ALAC meeting many of the presentations were focused on business efficiency in the sector, quality in patient service, management of supplies inventory, and how the industry is repositioning itself in the face of industrial changes in equipment and new solutions.
